Searches for House Plans

You may need at some stage, if buying or renovating, require copies of original plans from previous developments.

You may apply to Council for copies of plans by downloading the form below and submitting with the applicable fees.

Application for search for house plans (55 kb)

• Plans under 10 years - $35.00

• Plans over 10 years - $50.00

After paying fees, please allow 7- 10 days for the documents to be searched.  Unfortunately, at times there may not be any plans available and the fees are non-refundable because you are actually paying for our time to search. Our valuation records go as far back as the 1950's but our actual hard copies of plans only go back as far as 1967. Keeping this in mind it is still a good idea to check for any additions or alterations that may have happen since this time.
