From 1 January 2023 – All events on Council owned land or in Council owned buildings will need to comply with our Single Use Plastic Policy which means they will need to be plastic free.

To make this easy for you we have developed this flyer: Plastic Free Events

Here in Break O’Day we have a range of facilities available for public use from our huge sports Stadium in St Helens to the St Marys Hall. We even have a Community BBQ trailer that can be hired.

You can find more information about what facilities we have available here and fees and charges here.

We require that you or your organisation have current public liability insurance. If you would like some information on affordable insurance for your community group, please click here.

If you do not have public liability insurance, complete the public liability insurance form and “purchase” this insurance for single daily use at a cost of $21.50.
